» Dragonball Adventures Seeks a Programmer! Posted by: DBZFever Saturday, January 6, 2007 |
Dragonball Adventures is a modification for the Half-Life 2 engine based on Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT. We are aware that the idea of Dragonball Z or any anime in general may seem like a bland concept to many. However, we've taken the idea of Dragonball Z and have created an innovative, fresh and exciting playing/melee system. To finish bringing something like this to life, we're looking to add willing and capable developers to the programming team. If you think you've got what it takes and would like to join us, please send an email to admin@dbadventures.net with an application that answers the following questions:
-What experience do you have with creating games or game modifications?
-Tell us why you'd be fit for this position.
-How often will you be able to contribute to the modification?
-How well do you work with others?
In addition to the aforementioned information, please include your contact information. E-mail is the only requirement when contacting you about your application, but if you use a messenger such as MSN or AIM, please list it below to allow easier communication.
We look forward to hearing from the community!

» Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Team DBA! Posted by: DBZFever Sunday, December 24, 2006 |
We realize we haven't kept you, the community, updated on the progress we have been steadily making, and we probably seem dead to the most of you. Even though we all have busy schedules and our families to attend to, we have been working as hard as real life has allowed us. As you all may know, this is the busiest period of the year, but also the most valuable.
That's why we, Team Dragonball Adventures, would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. What's Christmas without a small gift?
We wish you a prosperous and promising 2007, filled with opportunity and happiness.
We hope you all have your good resolves decided upon!
In fact, why not jump on the message boards and post yours?
Have a safe Christmas, and know that Team Dragonball Adventures is indeed still working as hard as physically possible to bring you the ultimate Dragonball Z fighting game.

» Large Update Posted by: RemoWilliams Friday, November 24, 2006 |
I have lots of news for everyone, and the first has to pertain to the newly site update.
1) Site Structure
The site structure has improved over time and now is in its final release. There shall be small updates, but the majority and most labor intensive part of the job is complete.
2) New Gallery
The gallery was customly coded by yours truly. :) It is fully functional and I encourage you to check up on it for updates frequently. The newest pictures in the galleries will show as the default image, thus making it easy for users to keep in touch with the latest media.
3) Applicants
To the right of the news section, there now is a fully functioning resume submission form for positions open on the team. For people to have a fair chance of joining the team I strongly suggest following the format and the criteria listed in the form upon data submission.
4) Files
At the moment there is a fully working file download system, but there are no files listed. I shall leave the files for download up to Dan (DBZFever) to decide upon.
5) New Pictures!
Pictures are now online and here are the new screen shots. (Also available in the galleries)

That is the jist of all of my hard work. I hope that many of you like the changes and I hope that many of you also find it more efficient than the last website.

» New Website and Progress Posted by: DBZFever Tuesday, September 19, 2006 |
The website is still progressing, so not all the features are done. One of these features is the gallery. All public progress will be posted on the forums until we can get a stable gallery up on the website.
Thank you for your patience.

» Welcome! Posted by: RemoWilliams Sunday, September 17, 2006 |
Welcome to the new and improved website for DBAdventures.net!
Hope you like the changes that I've done so far. The only thing is I did not finish it all just yet, so for now, the FAQ, Gallery, Team Joining List, and Files sections are all incomplete.
Sorry for the large incovience of news updates.
Hope you like the site!
